Simply plug the Ion USB 'Classic' Turntable into your computer using the USB cable provided, install the included software and you’re ready to convert vinyl music to MP3 tracks that you can then download to your digital media player or burn to CD.

Once connected, the turntable transfers both 33RPM albums and 45RPM singles to digital format in minutes.

EZ Converter software provides an easy way to covert your records to your computer’s digital music library and Audacity software allows you to edit your recorded tracks.

Complete with an RCA line output you can connect directly to your home stereo or home theatre system.

This turntable isn't just a turntable. Oh goodness gracious no. It isn't even just a USB-enabled turntable with a nifty smoked-plastic lid. It's a whole digitizing and archiving solution in a box that outwardly looks as though it's a space age version of an old Sanyo Music Centre.

The Ion USB 'Classic' Turntable is a complete vinyl resurrection centre. It works like this: attach the USB dongle directly into one's PC or Mac computer. Find your old Classic vinyls and place one on the turntable. Lift the lid - or 'dust cover' as it is more properly known - and hit start. The arm will magically glide on to the spinning disc beneath, creating a contact between the cartridge and the tiny grooves on the surface of the disc, thus relaying the ensuing vibration to an amplifying device for your aural pleasure.

Once captured on your hard-drive, you will even be able to edit, de-hiss and de-click the record by using the Audacity software package that comes bundled with the device.

Featuring adjustable gain, anti-skating control and high-speed vinyl recording function, the belt-driven USB Turntables can also be connected to any home stereo with CD or auxiliary inputs. This means you can spin your records through your regular system when you're not converting them.
